Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Cummings was a license and franchise developer, which has equipped her with practical insight into a wide variety of franchise and business issues. As president of Cummings Business Development, Ms. Cummings provided business and franchise development services for companies seeking to expand. Services included franchise development planning and implementation; preparation of operations manuals; marketing and promotional materials and programs; advertising; franchisee training programs; ongoing franchisor/franchisee negotiation and mediation.
